Livia Firth wears Henrietta Ludgate @ London Film Critics' Circle Awards!

Have you all seen the post of Livia Firth at the London Film Critics’ Circle Awards, wearing a one-of-a-kind Henrietta Ludgate dress? She looked absolutely stunning and we couldn't have been any more pleased! It was lovely to hear that Colin Firth won the best actor of the year award. 'The Kings Speech' is fully recommended to anyone who hasn't watched it, a brilliant movie!

We're also extremely grateful for Livia Firth's kind words in her Vogue Blog:

"My prize was to wear Henrietta Ludgate. I first came across Henrietta at Estethica at London Fashion Week and loved her unique interpretation of elegance and her sculptural shapes. The white dress - or the Lochussie Mist dress - in wool and cashmere, is inspired by the hanging mist of the loch at dawn in her native Scotland.

Henrietta's clothes have very few clothes miles. She is a pioneer of localised production and techniques. They are designed in her Scottish studio and use fabrics processed and woven in the British Isles. Because Henrietta was only able to acquire enough fabric to make one mythical white dress, this piece is a one off. It does however have a sister sculpted wool dress - the Devils Point dress - available in black at Yooxygen - the British Fashion Council's selection of London Fashion Week eco sustainable designers at YOOX.COM. The hand printed silver foil design inside echoes the shapes of the pines in ancient Scottish forests. Wearing this dress was like walking around in a magical piece of art."
